Question: Will it ever be possible to get a blood transplant from animals?

Currently, no – because the proteins present on the surface of the animals blood cells are different to our own and therefore incompatible

However, this does not mean that in the future it is impossible – technology could emerge whereby this incompatibility could be reversed – who knows!
