      These are to help prevent you getting the disease the vaccine is given against!

      A vaccine contains substances that are very similar to the those that cause the disease – almost like a ‘fake/dummy disease’. This fake disease doesn’t make you ill but activates the body’s immune system to destroy it. The body can then “remember” these substances as toxic, so that the immune system destroy any of the real disease if it enters the body.
