• Question: if the earth spun the other way, would the seasons be backwards?

      If the earth rotated upon its axis in the opposite direction, but orbited the sun in the same direction as usual, then the seasons would remain the same but the sun would rise in the west rather than the east

      However, if earth orbited the sun in the opposite direction then yes I think the seasons would be backwards
