• Question: how do you work out what your blood type is at home? is it free to see on the NHS?

      You can buy blood-typing kits (looks like they cost around £10-20) and do the test for ABO & Rhesus at home, instructions are very easy to follow. I am not sure if the test is free in the NHS but I know you can find out your blood group e.t.c. for free if you become a blood donor!

      People usually find out their blood type when they donate blood

      However, it is possible to purchase a blood type testing kit. If not, perhaps if you ask your GP they may sort this out for you!
