• Question: have you looked at the reasons why the blood clots and is there a way to prevent it

      It’s been known for quite a while how and why the blood clots. It is in reaction to a vessel being harmed which results in the ‘coagulation cascade’ which is lots of different things in the blood being activated to make the clot form.

      We can stop, or at least delay, the blood clot forming by blocking the activation of these things in the blood. There are lots of drugs that do this that are used by doctors these days.
      Equally, we can also make the blood clot quicker by different drugs
